Creamy Banana Cuca Recipe

What can be better than a traditional head? A cuca stuffed with banana and condensed cream! If you want to impress someone with a stuffed cake, prepare this recipe that we share with you at. It is a real delight, creamy and crunchy at the same time, so we guarantee that no one will resist. Check out the ingredients and step by step of this creamy banana cuca recipe below and try it out!

Ingredients for making Creamy Banana Cuca:

For mass:

 3 cups of wheat flour (420 grams)

 1 cup of sugar (160 grams)

 1 cup of milk (240 milliliters)

 100 grams of softened unsalted butter

 1 egg

 1 tablespoon of baking powder

For the filling:

 3 ripe bananas

 1 can of condensed milk

 2 cups of milk (480 milliliters)

 3 tablespoons of cornstarch

 2 egg yolk

For the farofa:

 2 cups of wheat flour (280 grams)

 1½ cups of sugar (240 grams)

 4 tablespoons of softened butter or margarine

 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder (optional)

How to make Creamy Banana Cuca:

Prepare your head by making the filling cream. To do this, place all the ingredients except the bananas in a pan and place on the fire. Keep stirring until it thickens and boils, turn off and set aside.

Tip: If you want you can flavor this cream with a cinnamon stick or a few drops of vanilla essence.

To make this creamy cuca dough, beat the sugar with the butter and add the egg. Add the flour, alternating with the milk, until you get a heavy, lump-free cake dough and, finally, add the yeast.

Tip: In this recipe I used 2 cups of white all-purpose flour and 1 cup of whole-wheat flour.

Place the cuca dough in a greased and floured pan measuring approximately 20 x 40 cm or lined with parchment paper. Spread well and, on top of the dough, add the filling cream. Reserve.

Tip: The cuca dough should be about 1-2 cm high, so that it doesn't stick together after baking.

Finally, prepare the crumbs of this delicious cuca simply mixing the ingredients with your fingers until they are as in the image.

On top of the stuffing, place the bananas, cut in the way you prefer and, when finished, cover with the farofa. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 30-45 minutes.

Remove your creamy banana bread from the oven and let it warm or cool completely before unmolding and serving. Due to the creamy filling, it can dissolve a little, but it's delicious anyway! Taste it and let us know in the comments what you think.
